Attorney Advertising Notice
The information provided on PhillyLegalHotline.com constitutes attorney advertising under the rules of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the New Jersey Rules of Professional Conduct, and the Delaware Lawyers' Rules of Professional Conduct. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Any testimonial, endorsement, or case description does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or prediction regarding the outcome of your legal matter.
We Are Not a Law Firm
Philly Legal Hotline is a lawyer matching and referral service. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Submitting information through our quiz, chat, or telephone hotline does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Philly Legal Hotline, and does not create an attorney-client relationship with any participating attorney until you and that attorney sign a written engagement agreement.
How Matching Works
Based on the information you submit — practice area, county, and case facts — we route your inquiry to one or more independent attorneys or law firms in our network licensed to practice in the applicable jurisdiction (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware). Participating attorneys may pay a flat marketing or subscription fee to receive referrals. We do not charge you a fee to be matched, and fees paid by attorneys do not influence the legal advice they provide.
Fees & Contingency
For personal injury and workers' compensation matters, participating attorneys typically work on a contingency-fee basis — meaning you owe no attorney's fee unless the attorney recovers compensation on your behalf. Costs and expenses may still apply. For criminal defense and family law matters, attorneys set their own fees, which will be disclosed in writing before you retain them.
Confidentiality
Information you submit through the quiz or hotline is treated as confidential and is shared only with the matched attorney(s) evaluating your case. However, because no attorney-client relationship exists prior to a signed engagement, please do not send privileged, sensitive, or time-critical documents through this website. For urgent matters, call (215) 555-0100.
Jurisdictions Served
Philly Legal Hotline serves the Greater Philadelphia Metro Area, including Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Chester counties (PA); Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester counties (NJ); and New Castle County (DE). Referrals outside these jurisdictions are made on a case-by-case basis.
