Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PhillyLegalHotline.com (the "Site"), the qualification quiz, the chat assistant, or the telephone hotline (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Not a Law Firm; No Legal Advice

Philly Legal Hotline is a lawyer matching and referral service. We are not a law firm, we do not practice law, and we do not provide legal advice. Any information provided through the Site — including AI-generated responses from the chat assistant — is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney. Use of the Services does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Philly Legal Hotline. An attorney-client relationship with a participating attorney is formed only upon execution of a written engagement agreement with that attorney.

3. Attorney Advertising

The Services constitute attorney advertising. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Testimonials and case examples, if any, are illustrative and are not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction regarding the outcome of your legal matter.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Services.

5. Communications Consent

By submitting your contact information through the quiz, chat, or a form on the Site, you agree to be contacted as described in our Privacy Policy — including by autodialed calls, prerecorded/artificial voice messages, and SMS. Consent is not required as a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS at any time.

6. User Content & Accuracy

You agree that all information you submit is truthful, accurate, and your own (or submitted with proper authorization). You are solely responsible for the content you provide, and you grant Philly Legal Hotline a limited license to use that content solely to provide the Services and connect you with a participating attorney.

7. Third-Party Attorneys

Participating attorneys and law firms are independent from Philly Legal Hotline. We do not endorse, supervise, or control any attorney's legal services, fees, or advice. Your relationship with any attorney is governed solely by the written engagement agreement between you and that attorney.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to (a) misuse the Services or attempt to interfere with their operation, (b) submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information, (c) impersonate another person, (d) scrape, copy, or resell any content, or (e) use the Services in violation of any applicable law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Philly Legal Hotline, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Philly Legal Hotline from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services shall be resolved by binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Philadelphia, PA. You and Philly Legal Hotline waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing legal@phillylegalhotline.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

13. Partner Non-Circumvention & Confidentiality

Attorneys, law firms, marketing agencies, referral services, and any other party that receives leads, sample intake data, pricing, program materials, availability information, or any other non-public information from Philly Legal Hotline (each a "Partner") agrees, for the duration of their engagement and for twenty-four (24) months thereafter, not to, directly or indirectly: (a) identify, reverse-engineer, probe, scrape, replicate, or attempt to discover the origin, domain names, ad accounts, tracking numbers, funnels, vendors, technology, or lead sources used by Philly Legal Hotline; (b) contact, solicit, or transact with any Philly Legal Hotline lead source, vendor, publisher, or supplier outside the program; (c) circumvent, bypass, or attempt to bypass Philly Legal Hotline to obtain leads, introductions, or referrals that would otherwise flow through the Services; (d) disclose, publish, or share any Philly Legal Hotline confidential information — including sample intakes, pricing, territory availability, partner lists, screenshots, email templates, or the identity of any lead-generation property — with any third party; or (e) copy, imitate, or create a substantially similar lead-generation property targeting the same practice areas or geographies. Any breach entitles Philly Legal Hotline to injunctive relief without bond, liquidated damages of $25,000 per incident (as a reasonable estimate of harm, not a penalty), plus reasonable attorneys' fees and costs. This section survives termination.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
